 Couple of recent commissions i did , both oil on canvas.

 recent portrait using wax, oil paint , house hold gloss paint.

 My Uncle Brian wrote the start of a book which i have illustrated , as i was doing the drawings he was battling liver failure and when i completed after a transplant he unfortunately did not survive, a fitting epitaph to someone i loved.

This is the first page of a comic story i will have published by Soaring Penguin Press in the next few months , i have been learning a lot about black and white rendering, where to place the large areas of black , how to balance the space and the thickness and thinness of the lines.

This is a recent painting  completed on site , it took two years , on and off and was purchased recently by a prominent collector.
